Tour Name: Egypt - The BEST for Less! - September 16 - 25, 2003
Destination: Egypt
I just wanted to tell you again how much I enjoyed our trip to Egypt. When I told friends and family that I planned to go to Egypt, most were concerned about my safety, but I knew that you would not plan a trip if you were not convinced we would be safe. Of course I was right. I felt perfectly safe every minute in Egypt. As a matter of fact every person we met was very welcoming and perfectly charming. It was one of the best trips I have ever taken. The cruise on the Nile was absolutely fantastic. -

My expectations for the Egypt trip were very high, and I am pleased to say that they were all exceeded. It would be difficult to single out any one particular event above others, but I will certainly remember for all times our stay at the Mena House, and the Sun Boat IV, which served for four days as our home on the Nile. The staff was excellent, very courteous, and were wonderful about calling all of their guests by name; very impressive. Travel security in Egypt was very impressive. There was never a time to be in fear. I felt as safe in Egypt, or more so, than I would venturing into downtown Jacksonville, Atlanta, or New York. By our normal travel standards, this was not an inexpensive trip, but we certainly received a great value when you take into account the quality of the hotels we stayed in, the places we visited, the buses and security, the meals, and the staff and accommodations on the Sun Boat IV, and the fact that all tips were included in the base price. You did an excellent job, Gwen, and your being there with us just made things even more special. You anticipated virtually every possibility for problems, and solved these potential problems before they ever had a chance to surface. I had rather travel with you than any other travel agent I know. I loved every minute of the trip, and long for the opportunity to take the rest of my children on a similar trip. Our family loves "making memories," and memories we will have for a lifetime were made on our wonderful trip to Egypt.

Thanks for the most memorable trip of a lifetime. Rugged as it was, it was exactly what I expected it to be! (And I wouldn't have changed it for the Ritz Carlton or a cruise ship ever!) This was not a trip for sissies but for those seeking real (soft) adventure. It delivered! Sam and everyone was spectacular. You do have a real treasure!
This was an adventure! I had a wonderful, memorable time spent in good fun loving company. Sam couldn't have treated us any better. Mt.Everest now tops my world travel experiences. Thanks again for this unique opportunity & here's to future happy traveling.
