Dr. Walker is board certified in general and addiction psychiatry, as well as a licensed massage therapist. He is interested in the relationships of physical, psychological, energy, spiritual healing, and transformation. While studying various modalities of healing, he has become passionate about the Holy Grail, the nature of the human heart as well as human destiny.
He finds that exposure to the wisdom of other cultures and traditions augment the understanding and appreciation of western spirituality. Tibet and China are both rich cultures and he wishes to share the experiences with others who are interested. |

Discovery Highlights

- Learn Qi Gong with Dr. Lu Li Jian a medical Qi Gong instructor and clinician specializing in orthopedics, subject to scheduling
- Visit a Panda Breeding Center in Chengdu
- Explore active temples throughout including Kongmiao Confucian Temple in Beijing, Qing Yang Gong Taoist Temple in Chengdu, Jokhang Temple in Lhasa
- Meditate in mysterious monasteries: Samye (first Buddhist monastery in Tibet), Palkhor, Tashilhunpo, Drepung, Sera and Gandan
- Travel along the newly-paved road to Gyantse and enjoy the view of Yamdrok Lake
- Browse for handicrafts at the Tibetan free market in Shigatse. Shop on Barkhor Street
- Explore the 7th century Potala Palace
