Dear Serious Traveler,

Join us for a one-of-a-kind adventure! We’ll visit Moscow – the capital of Russia and one of her ancient cities. You will marvel at Red Square; step inside the Kremlin; shop in GUM; see St. Basil’s Cathedral in her snowy splendor. Then travel off-the-beaten-path to Russia’s Golden Ring to see Vladimir and Suzdal. From there visit the workshops and museums of Palekh and return to Moscow via Fedoskino, the most famous Russian villages where traditional lacquered boxes are produced by skilled workers. Each village offers its own technique, style and subjects which have become internationally famous!

Back in Moscow the delicious delights of the Butter Festival - Maslenitsa - will tempt us. Many activities will be taking place in the local park in which we can participate. We’ll not forget the world-famous Moscow Circus. Then, we’re whisked off by Sapsan fast train to St. Petersburg, the Venice of the North. We’ll visit the Hermitage, one of the world’s most amazing museums; shop for books at Dom Knigi; step inside the Peter and Paul Fortress; see the Admiralty Building and Smolny Convent.

Those who have visited Russia before will enjoy free time to revisit favorite spots while first-time visitors enjoy comprehensive excursions. Performances will be offered to fill your evenings with delight. (We’ll send a listing of performances and excursions once theater performances are announced.) If your schedule allows for a slightly longer holiday, you won’t want to miss a little more time in St. Petersburg (see page 5 of this brochure).

Please enjoy our brochure. If you need additional copies for family and friends, please let us know. We’ll be happy to send them. But don’t delay – we’re limiting our group to only 15.
